The purpose of this study was to identify cultural resources, natural resources, and human resources in the Bukit Kerang Kawal Darat (BKKD) area on Bintan Island. The author believes that these three resources have important values to be communicated appropriately for the promotion of the area so that it is increasingly protected from environmental damage that has been felt so far. Through this dissertation research, the resulting model is expected to be able to break down the communication barriers that have occurred so far, so that it is expected to help accelerate progress in the region in a sustainable/environmentally friendly manner. The results of the study indicate that the resources that have been identified in the BKKD Site area have significant importance to be communicated appropriately among stakeholders for the promotion of the BKKD Site area. Significant in this case because it is evident from the analysis of the results of observations, interviews, and literature studies, it is stated that they are very ready to be managed professionally. The five communication models offered, each have advantages and disadvantages, but both have the same effectiveness in minimizing communication barriers that occur. However, from the results of various discussions and interviews conducted, the most realistic models offered are empowerment of the community around the site model and CSR funds model. Both variants of the model, the government's dominance has not appeared. The community around the site, through their own working group, is at the forefront of advancing the BKKD area in a sustainable/environmentally friendly manner.
