Analisis Ketersediaan Debit Air Sungai Ular terhadap Pemakai Air lrigasi, lndustri, Domestik dan Perkotaan di Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai dan Deli Serdang

Abstract

The present study is aimed at ( 1) studying effect of water consumption level by farmers from the waterway on the flow rate of Ular River." (2) Studying effect of industrial water consumption level from the waterway on the flow rate of Ular River." (3) Studying effect of water consumption level from the waterway for domestic needs on flow rate of Ular River." Method of analysis in the research is carried out from secondary data in the form of flow rate of Ular River that is obtained from Waters Department of North Sumatera Province along with list of tangential frequencies and tested by multiple linier regression method, and also by predicting the water supply of flow rate of Ular River. The results are: To date, condition of flow rate of Ular River was interestingly sufficient to meet the needs of (1) irrigation; (2) industries; (3) domestic needs; (4) urban needs. Estimated from the existing data of flow rate used for irrigation, industries, domestic and urban needs, the flow rate of Ular River in 2040 will not be able to support and meet community's water requirements in the future. Therefore, it shows that the flow rate of Ular River need to be regulated, controlled and effectively consumed, and the number of industries that are taking up water from Ular River waterway shall be strictly controlled.
