Pengaruh Implementasi Program Nasional Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Mandiri Perdesaan terhadap Pengembangan Wilayah di Kecamatan Selesai Kabupaten Langkat

Abstract

The main purpose of regional development is to increase social welfare. Social welfare can be reached by decreasing poverty. Because of that, poverty needs a serious attention from the government. Recently the government has afforded to solve the problems of poverty through a Top-Down program, but this approach tends to neglect potention of the poor people themselves. This research is formulated how The Influence of Implementation of National Program of Rural Independent Community Empowerment (PNPM-MP) for Regional Development in Selesai Subregency of Langkat Regency. Location of research conducted in the village of Padang Cermin Selesai subregency Langkat regency which implement infrastructure activities and the activities of the Women's Savings and Loans of National Program of Rural Independent Community Empowerment (PNPM-MP). Number of samples taken are as many as 96 people. The samples are taken by Cluster Random Sampling. Approach used in this study is deductive by quantitative descriptive analysis method Quantitative methods used to measure how much The Influence of Implementation of National Program of Rural Independent Community Empowerment (PNPM-MP) which consists of a variable organization, interpretation and application of regional development which is connected through community empowerment. The results showed that the Implementation of National Program of Rural Independent Community Empowerment (PNPM-MP) with Regional Development have a positive linear relationship through community empowerment as a variable between. The pattern of relationships indicates that if the better Implementation of National Program of Rural Independent Community Empowerment (PNPM-MP) covering aspects of the organization, interpretation and application of the more successful efforts to empower people which will then increase regional development.
