dc.description.abstractElectrical power quality problem is very important to solve. The emergence of voltage sags both its duration and depth greatly affects the performance of sensitive equipment. The emergence of voltage sag is due to, the disturbance in the power system either in transmission networks, distribution networks, and motor starter with big power or energizing transformer. This study was to analyze the voltage sag recovery occurred due to the disturbance in one-phase to the earth of three-phases to protect the sensitive equipment by using Dynamic Voltage restorer (DVR) with PI controller. To detect the emergence of voltage sag, Park Transformation implemented in voltage regulator system which will continuously detect the voltage in the sensitive load was used. The result of this study showed that DVR can restore the voltage sag caused by the disturbance of one-phase to earth with the recovered voltage of I pu without affecting the undisturbed phase in voltage recovery time of 0.1 ms. From this result of study, it is found out that the amount of protected load power will affect the amount of output voltage of inverter and injection through the LC passive filter.en_US
