    Sintesis Carbon Dots dari Kulit Jengkol dengan Doping CuCl2 Menggunakan Metode Hidrotermal

    Abstract
    Synthesis of Carbon dots from jengkol skin with CuCl2 doping using the hydrothermal method has been carried out. CuCl2 solution was used as doping agent. Jengkol peel powder without and with the addition of CuCl2 with various concentrations (0.01 M, 0.025 M, and 0.05 M) with a ratio of 1:1 was dissolved in distilled water, heated at 70oC in a stirrer for 15 minutes. The solution formed was filtered using Whatman filter paper then the filtrate was put into an autoclave Teflon heated at 16oC for 4 hours to produce a CDs-Cu solution. Then centrifuged at 10,000 rpm for 10 minutes. The resulting carbon dots were characterized by UV, UV-Visible, PL, and FTIR lamps. The results of characterization with 365 nm UV lamp produce bluish green luminescence. Analysis using UV-Visible spectrophotometer for undoped CDs showed absorbance at a wavelength of 264 nm, for CDs with CuCl2 doped (0.01 M, 0.025 m, and 0.05 M) showed absorbance at wavelengths of 270 nm, 273, respectively. nm, and 278 nm. Photoluminescence analysis of CDs with the addition of CuCl2 doping (0.01 M, 0.025 M, and 0.05 M) increased by 42.9%, 76.5%, 90%, respectively. FTIR analysis showed the formation of Carbon dots which were indicated by the presence of O-H groups and C=O groups at wave numbers 3265 cm-1 and 1640 cm-1, respectively. The value of Quantum Yield Carbon dots without doping was 3.7%, CDs with CuCl2 doped (0.01 M, 0.025 M, and 0.05 M) were 3.4%, 21.3%, and 45.5 respectively. %.
