With the increasing number of indoor users who are dominated by smokers in closed users, it greatly affects the health of both smokers and non-smokers.
Until now, the problem of cigarette smoke in public places is still a problem among the community, there is no strict sanction and most people are afraid to snooze, smokers are the reason why there are still many people who smoke in smoke-free rooms. To overcome this problem, in This final project will design and realize a device that is able to detect cigarette smoke with automatic shutdown using the MQ-7 sensor. The device will be designed not only to detect but also to provide output in the form of sound from the laspeker and automatic shutdown when cigarette smoke is detected. If there is cigarette smoke detected, the sound that sounds from the laspeker in the form of a prohibition is ordered to come out besides that, it will also automatically turn off the lights in the room if there is more cigarette smoke and will come back to life after cigarette smoke is no longer there, to curb smoking visitors maybe in this way it is more effective if. Arduino is an electronic kit or open source electronic circuit board in which there is a main component, namely a microcontroller chip with the AVR type from the Atmel company. The microcontroller itself is a chip or IC (Integrated Circuit) that can be programmed using a computer.
Thus, this tool has been able to detect cigarette smoke with a minimum resistance of 60 ppm with an accuracy of 99.89%. Besides that, it is also equipped with an automatic light switch so that it provides a new service to create a sense of comfort in a smoke-free room and provide a sense of security for everyone. visitors who come to its dangers a lot of cigarette smoke.
