dc.description.abstractIsolation and identification of flavonoid compound from Bakau Burus Leaves (Bruguiera cylindrica (L.) Blume) has been done through the maceration extraction step with methanol solvent. Methanol fraction was evaporated, then dissolved with ethyl acetate solvent, concentrated and evaporated. Ethyl acetate fraction was dissolved with methanol and partitioned with n-hexane solvent. Concentrated methanol extract then analyzed TLC, then separated by column chromatography with silica gel as stationary phase with chloroform : methanol (90:10, 80:20 and 70:30) v/v as mobile phase. The pure compound obtained was in the form of amorphous yellowish orange, weight = 16,3 mg with Rf = 0,73 use eluent chloroform : methanol 70:30 v/v. The compound further identified by using Spectrophotometer Ultraviolet Visible (UV-Vis), Fourier Transfrom Infra Red Spectrophotometer (FT-IR) and Proton Nuclear Magnetic Resonancy Spectrophotometer (¹H-NMR). Spectroscopy data showed that the isolated compound is flavonol.en_US
