The change in land of forest use change has resulted in many negative impacts, the example is habitat of animals that inhabit the area has become threatened and the availability of trees for animal feed has become increasingly rare. One type of plant for the Sumatran orangutan (P. abelii) is genus Ficus, the part of the Ficus plant consumed by animals is the fruit. The genus Ficus is a food plant for the Sumatran orangutan (P. abelii) which is planted in the Cinta Raja Resort restoration area. The purpose of this research was to analyze species diversity, density levels and compare the distribution of Ficus type trees between restoration forests and natural forests as food trees in Sumatran orangutan (P. abelii) habitat in the Cinta Raja restoration area. This research was conducted by vegetation analysis using the quadrat transect method with a total of 40 plots and 4 transects made in primary forest and Cinta Raja Resort restoration area. The position of the plot on the transect is placed alternately. The results obtained in the identification of 4 species Ficus found in restoration areas and primary forests, the namely is F. fistulosa, F. variegata, F. benjamina, and F. elastica. The Ficus genus with the highest INP in the restoration area was Ficus fistulosa with an INP of 115,42% and in primary forest was F. fistulosa with an INP of 24,60%. The obtained T count is 0,575655 and the T table is 2,200985. Based on the hypothesis made, the decision was taken that H0 was accepted and H1 was rejected if T count < T table, this means that the ratio of genus Ficus in natural forest is not significantly different from the ratio of genus Ficus in the Cinta Raja Resort restoration area. F count (0,752424) > F table (0,2427).en_US
