Pengaruh Penambahan Ampas Daun Teh terhadap Sifat Fisis dan Sifat Mekanik Pada Beton
Abstract
Research has been carried out on construction concrete with the addition of tea leaf pulp. This concrete method uses mixed variations of 0%, 2%, 4% and 6% with the addition of tea leaf pulp as a substitute for part of cement with a soaking time of 28 days. This research was conducted to determine the influence of the physical and mechanical properties of concrete with the addition of tea leaf pulp as a concrete mixture, which was carried out with a composition of materials namely 15.19% cement, 33.04% sand, 43.75 % coarse aggregate and 8.01% water . From the results of the study, a mixture of tea leaf pulp was very influential on the concrete produced. Testing the physical properties of concrete that had been carried out include: density has a value of: 2,510 x 103 - 2,345 x 103 kg/m3, porosity has a value of: 7,34 - 6.36% and water absorption has a value of: 0,323 - 0,278 %. And the mechanical properties include: compressive strength has a value of 23.66 – 13.96 MPa and flexural strength has a value of: 33.3 – 26.6 MPa.
