Pengaruh Program Penanggulangan Kemiskinan Perkotaan Terhadap Penlngkatan Taraf Hldup Keluarga Miskin di Kelurahan Sejahtera Kecamatan Tanjung Balai Utara

Abstract

(!rhan poverty protection program (P2KP) is a government program wh;ch substantially attempts in protecting poverty in the city. Poverty incbcates lack (>{ choices for a person. Basic pen;pective of this program is attempting l!:.ff'ort must he directly occur to itsfundament issues, which is a development(?{ people's skills. 1J1e o~jectives of this research are(]) to ascertain response.from society to the urban poverty protection program (P2KP) and level of social welfare (?f'poorfamily, (2) Understanding factors which cause the fiJrmation of the program and the level r>l social we(fare (?{ poor family, (3) To obtain the effect of urban pover(v protection program (P2KP) towards· level r!fsocial we(fare in poor.family. The research methodologies used are descriptive and verification method. And the variables used in this research is consisted by independent variables and dependent variables. Re5,pective/y, these variables are urban poverty protection program (P2KP) and level of social welfare of poor family. Primary data is collected by using questionnaire randomly distributed to 78 respondents which have accepted the urban poverty protection pro6:rram (P2KP). The respondents are poor.families which live at Sejahtera sub-district, District of Tanjung Balai Utara. The testing hypotheses on this research are (1) Urban poverty protection program (P2KP) is categorized fine, and the level of social we{fare of poorfamily is class(fied as Keluarga Sejahtera I. (2) Establishing factors of urban poverty protection program (P2KP) and level of social welfare of poor.family is a structure which has valid dimension. (3) It is occurred influences on urban poverty protection program (P2KP) towards level of social we(fare of poor family at Sejahtera Sub-District, District ofTanjung Balai [ltara. The results <?l this research display (1) Implementation of urban poverty protection program (P2KP) at Sejahtera Sub-District, District of Tanjung Balai Utara entirely can be stated as.fine and the level of social welfare ofpoor.family generally can be stated as medium which positioned on group of Keluarga Sejahtera II (KS 11). (2) Based on the test throughout corifl.rmatory factors analysis shows the establishing factors of urban poverty protection program (P2KP) and level of social welfare of poor family is a valid dimension qf structure. (3) Through Pearson's coefficient of correlation existed a strong, positive and linear relation between variables of urban poverty protection program and level of social we(fare qf poor fami~y. The testing hypotheses shows there is significant influences from urban poverty protection program (P2KP) towards the level qf social weljare <if poor.family. In implementing the urban poverty protection program (P2KP), it will he important to increase the work ability of division of neighborhood protection. On the other hand, in increasing the social we(fare of poor.family is to improve the work ability of urban poverty protection program (P2KP).
