dc.description.abstractThis study aims to find out the description of internet addiction in adolescents in Medan. This study uses Griffith’s Internet Addiction Theory (2015). This study research’s subjects are 185 teenagers internet users aged 12-21. The method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method with data collection methods using a Likert scale, arranged based on dimensions by Griffiths (2015), consisting 23 items. The sampling method used is accidental sampling, by distributing the scale via Google form to participants who fit the research criteria. The data analysis used is a descriptive statistical method. The results of this study indicated that 59,46% teenagers in Medan have internet addiction behavior in the moderate category, followed by 29.73% in the low category and 10.81% in the high categoryen_US
