Analisis Determinan Volume Bongkar Muat Barang di Pelabuhan Belawan

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the factors which influence the loading and discharging volume at Belawan Seaport. The Data Used is Panel Data with Generalized Least Square (GLS) Method by using Random Efficts Model to total sampling is thirty stevedoring companies in Belawan since January 2005 until September 2006. The research shows that the variable which most influence to the loading and discharging volume is the amount of ship. While stevedoring company who had the biggest contribution to the loading and discharging volume at the Belawan Seaport is PT. (persero) Pelindo-I and the smallest one is PT. Dewi Sarana Primatama Indah. Coefficient of Determination 1n2) is 0.92 shows that92,7o/o the amount of ship, labor and working time are able to explain the loading and discharging volume at Belawan Seaport, while 7,3%o canbe explained by the other variable out of the used model. Based on the estimation result shows that the amount of ship, labor and working time are significantly influencing to the loading and discharging volume at Belawan Seaport with Confidence Level is 99Yo or a = lo/o Level.
