Pengaruh Dukungan Sosial Suami terhadap Motivasi Menyusui Ibu yang Bekerja di Kota Medan

Abstract

Nursing/breastfeeding mothers who work face several challenges that can affect the motivation to breastfeed their babies. Therefore, the role of the father as the closest person in providing social support is needed to increase the mother's motivation to breastfeed. The purpose of this study was to see whether there was an effect of husband's social support on breastfeeding motivation of working mothers in Medan City. This study uses quantitative methods, and data collection uses the Likert scale method, namely The Social Provision Scale and the Breastfeeding Motivational Instructional Measurement scale. The analytical method used in this study is a simple regression analysis method. The result was found that there was no effect of husband's social support on breastfeeding motivation of working mothers in Medan City.
