dc.description.abstract | Partially Stabilized Zirconia (PSZ) is a toughness ceramic so that can be used by
toll cutting and bio ceramic. Have been done by ceramic making of PSZ ,Yith
additive 12% mole MgO. Ceramic which have been printed by sintering at
temperature 1 ]00°C until 1500°C ,with interval increase of temperature 100° and
each arrested by during 3 hours. Analyzed by characteristic is simulation cover
sintering temperature correlation to nature of mechanical tor example: densitas,
porosity, hardness, fracture toughness, banding strength and coefficient thennal
expansion. Simulation analysis done by using language programming of
Mathematica Windows Version for 5.0. Pursuant to result of simulation analysis
obtained is: ceramic of Mg-PSZ with additive 12% mole MgO optimum condition
reached by at sintering temperature 1545°C yielding densitas value 5,71058g/crn
porosity 8,19829% and banding strength 609,327xl06Pa. At sintering temperature
around 980° -125 5°C yielding hardness value (Vickers hardness)
(4.05749-1 L0012)xl09Pa and value fracture toughess around
(l:l7325-l,7307)~106Pa--/m. Coefficient thermal expansion ,which is best. to be
obtained at sintering temperature around 1554°C-1985°C with value around
