dc.description.abstractIsolation and identification of flavonoid compound group of harendong bulu plant leaves (Clidemia hitra (L) D. Don.) had been done by maceration extraction using methanol solvent. Methanol fraction was evaporated was evaporated, then dissolved with ethyl acetate solvent, concentrated and evaporated. Ethyl acetate fraction was dissolved with methanol and partitioned with n-hexane solvent. Concentrated methanol extract then analyzed TLC, then separated by column chromatography with silica gel as stationary phase with chloroform : methanol (90:10, 80:20, 70:30, 60:40) v/v as mobile phase .The pure compound obtained was in the form of amorphous yellow, weight 5.9 mg, with Rf = 0.44. Using eluen chloroform : methanol 80 : 20 v/v. Based on the UV-Visible spectrum showsed a wavelength (λ max) of 354 nm on band I and 256 nm on band II. The FT-IR spectrum indicates the presence of OH, C-H, C=O ketone, C=C aromatic, C-H, C-O and C-O-C groups. Proton Nucleus Magnetic Resonance Spectrum (1H-NMR) indicates the presence of H-2' protons; H-3'; H-5'; H-6'; H-6; H-8; OCH3; OH. Based on the data obtained by the isolated compound are flavonoid compound of the flavonol group.en_US
