The quality of communication is an important component in health services because it is related to patient satisfaction. The aim of the study was to determine the level of satisfaction and quality of communication as well as to determine the relationship between the level of satisfaction of clinical clerkship students and the quality of communication in the Radiology Installation of the Faculty of Dentistry, University of North Sumatra. This type of research is descriptive analytic with cross sectional approach. The sample size was 345 people according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, with data collection using a questionnaire in the form of a Google form carried out online in January 2022. The results of the study were that the satisfaction level of clinical clerkship students was in the dissatisfied category (1.4%), moderate satisfied (13.3%), satisfied (84.3%), and very satisfied (0.9%). Based on the results of the Spearman correlation test, there was a significant relationship (p <0.05) between the satisfaction level of clinical clerkship students and the quality of communication. The conclusion is the research level of clinical clerkship student satisfaction with the quality of communication of RSGM officers and radiographers in the satisfied category (84.3%). The most influential aspect of communication is Open Mindness (r = 0.423).
