Analisis Hasil Tangkapan per Upaya Penangkapan dan Pola Musim Penangkapan Ikan Kembung (Rastrelliger sp.) di Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera Belawan Provinsi Sumatera Utara

Abstract

Mackerel fishing at the Belawan Ocean Fishing Port has experienced unstable catches so that there is no guarantee of a stock of mackerel resources in the future. This study aims to analyze the catch per fishing effort and to find out the pattern of the mackerel fishing season at Belawan Ocean Fishing Port. The secondary data used in this study is data on the catch and effort of catching mackerel. The research results obtained were the highest CPUE analysis in 2020 of 1.82 tons per trip, while the lowest CPUE analysis was in 2019 of 0.70 tons per trip. The fishing season for mackerel is in May, June, July, October and November. The highest peak season is in July (east monsoon) with an IMP value of 134.2%. While the lowest fishing season is in January (west season) with an IMP value of 61.5%.
