Evaluasi Kinerja Operasi dan Pemeliharaan Sistem Irigasi Ramunia Kecamatan Beringin Kabupaten Deli Serdang

Abstract

Ramunia irrigation area is one of the technical irrigation area with an area of 2400 ha that is located in Beringin District Deli Serdang regency. This study was aimed to evaluate the performance of operation and maintenance of Ramunia irrigation system. Some of the indicators used to determine the performance of the irrigation system were : physical and functional condition of infrastructure of the irrigation network, the adequacy of water, the level of accuracy of water supply, the management of government institutions, human resources, the farmer institution performance, and the availability of funding. The results showed that : the physical condition of the irrigation network infrastructure was good with a score of 3, the functional condition of the irrigation network infrastructure was very good with a value of 4, the level of water adequacy was adequate with a value of 3, the level of accuracy of water supply was very appropriate with a value of 4, institutional management was very good with a value of 4, the availability of adequate funds with a score of 3, very adequate human resources with a value of 4, and good farmer institutional performance with a score of 3. In general the operation and maintenance performance of the Ramunia irrigation system can be categorized in very good condition with a score of 3.49.
