dc.description.abstract | The Namu Sira-Sira Kanan Irrigation Area is one of the technical irrigation areas covering an area of 4,098 ha which is located in 2 (two) Districts, namely Sei Bingai District and South Binjai District. This study aims to evaluate the operation and maintenance performance of the Namu Sira-Sira Kanan irrigation system. Some of the indicators used to determine the performance of the irrigation system are: functional and infrastructure performance of irrigation networks, water adequacy level, accuracy of water supply, government institutional management, availability of funds, human resources and farmer institutional performance. In the study, the results showed that the physical condition of the irrigation network infrastructure was good with a score of 3, the functional condition of the irrigation network infrastructure was good with a value of 3, the level of water adequacy was sufficient with a value of 3, the level ofaccuracy of water supply was very appropriate with a value of 4, good institutional management with a value of 4, the availability of adequate funds with a score of 4, adequate human resources with a value of 3, and bad institutional performance of farmers with a score of 2. In general the operation and maintenance performance of the Namu Sira-Sira Kanan irrigation system can be categorized in very good condition with a score of 3.14. | en_US |
