dc.description.abstract | Speed Control Device of Single Phase Induction Motor with frequency control has been successfully designed. It was designed using an inverter circuit consisting of a rectifier, an H Bridge circuit, a voltage amplifier circuit and an Arduino Uno. This device is designed to be able to control the speed of an induction motor with a frequency that can change, so that it can produce a motor speed rotation that is higher or lower than the normal electrical frequency. The device was tested by directly connecting the speed controller with a single phase induction motor with a power of 0.25 HP (Horse Power). The result showed that this device is able to control the rotation speed of motor. It can also gets frequency values that are higher or lower than the normal electrical frequency. At the normal electrical conditions it will gets a frequency of 50/60 Hertz, then with this device the frequency of the electricity will gets vary from 29 Hertz to 71 Hertz with a relatively smaller power. In addition, the results of motor rotation speed is various from 792 RPM to 1957 RPM when measured by a tachometer. | en_US |
