Evaluasi Program Indonesia Pintar (PIP) dalam Menjamin Pendidikan Siswa yang Berasal dari Keluarga Kurang Mampu di SMA Negeri 2 Lubuk Pakam
Abstract
The Smart Indonesia Program (PIP) is one of the government programs that has a background in the existence of assistance that is channeled to help students who come from middle to lower economic families through the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture (Permendikbud) Number 10 of 2020 concerning the Smart Indonesia Program which aims to help every child from poor families to finance, prevent dropping out of school, and meet the needs of compulsory education for 12 years. However, in reality the program implemented at SMA Negeri 2 Lubuk Pakam is still not on target and there is still misuse of funds for students who receive the assistance. This shows that there is a need for evaluation in the process of implementing the Smart Indonesia Program (PIP). This study aims to describe in detail the Evaluation of the Smart Indonesia Program (PIP) in Assuring the Education of Students from Underprivileged Families at SMA Negeri 2 Lubuk Pakam.
The research method used in this research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out by interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively using the CIPP evaluation model proposed by Stufflebeam, including Context, Input, Process and Product.
The results of this study indicate that the Smart Indonesia Program (PIP) at SMA Negeri 2 Lubuk Pakam in terms of context, has been implemented well because all program needs have been fulfilled by the program manager. Then in terms of input, the human resources managing this program are still limited so it is necessary to add additional human resources so that the program can run smoothly. Furthermore, in terms of process, the recipients of program assistance funds are still not targeted and there is also misuse of funds against beneficiary students without further processing. Then in terms of products, the program that has been running for almost 4 years has only been inspected by the Social Service for once a year so consistency is needed in supervising the Smart Indonesia Program (PIP) at SMA Negeri 2 Lubuk Pakam. Therefore, it is necessary to pay more attention to this government program so that later it can be improved through the achievement of the desired program objectives
