Research on the Population Density of Glass Fish (Parambassis siamensis) in Lake Toba, Pangururan District, Samosir Regency, North Sumatra Province was conducted in August-October 2022. The purpose of this study was to determine the population density analysis of glassfish (Parambassis siamensis) in Lake Toba, Pangururan District, Samosir Regency, to determine the relationship between the population density of glassfish (Parambassis siamensis) and the physical-chemical parameters of the waters in Toba Lake Pangururan, Samosir Regency. The method used in this research is purposive sampling method with sampling once per month. The results obtained showed that the highest glassfish population density was in station III of 1.37 ind/m2. Clustered distribution pattern. Balanced sex ratio. 152 fish samples with total weight (TW) ranging from 0.11 to 3.1 g and total length (TL) ranging from 35 to 57 mm. The results of the relationship between length and weight indicate that the growth pattern of tuna is positive allometric (b > 3) where the weight gain is faster than the increase in length. Parameter estimation was carried out using the FISAT II program (FAO-ICLARM Inventory Assessment Tools). The results of the study showed that the growth coefficient (K) was 0.8/month, the infinitive length (L∞) was 60.4 mm, the theoretical age of glassfish at zero length (t0) was 0.12562. A very strong and one-way correlation value is DO.
