dc.description.abstractResearch on the performance of Aluminum (Al)/Graphene Nano Sheets (GNS), NH4Cl-MnO2 and GNS on Weight Ratio Variations for primary Battery Electrodes has been carried out. GNS was produced from coconut fruit using the pyrolysis method and primary battery prototype was prepared by the alloy method with a weight ratio of Al/GNS//NH4Cl-MnO2//GNS. GNS, Al/GNS//NH4Cl-MnO2//GNS and anode of commercial battery were characterized using X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscope-Energy Dispersive X-Ray (SEM-EDX) and Electrical Conductivity using a Multimeter. The XRD results of GNS show that the diffraction pattern of GNS has a weak peak and widens at 2 = 24.28ᵒ derived from a graphene sheet with a reflection plane of C (002) which is the basic framework of graphene. The SEM-EDX results from GNS showed that there were irregular piles and thin flat sheets on the surface and white spots and pores with regularly spaced visible, meaning that GNS was successfully synthesized. XRD and SEM-EDX may prove that Al atoms are well deposited on GNS. Electrical conductivity data shows that the primary battery prototype Al/GNS//NH4Cl-MnO2//GNS (1 : 2 : 1) has the largest Electrical conductivity data value, which is a ratio of 1 : 2 : 1 (0.2997 S/cm2), and the smallest Al/GNS// NH4Cl-MnO2//GNS ratio (1 : 1 : 2) of (0.2151 S/cm2). Electrical Conductivity Al/GNS (0.2973 S/cm2), GNS (0.2794 S/cm2), commercial battery anode (0.3680 S/cm2) and commercial primary battery cathode (0.3034 S/cm2). Electrical conductivity data show that the commercial battery anode has a higher Electrical conductivity data than the Primary Battery Prototype with an Electrical conductivity data value (0.3680 S/cm2). This proves that the mass ratio of Al/GNS//NH4Cl-MnO2//GNS affects the performance of the battery prototype.en_US
