Tingkat Keberhasilan Inseminasi Buatan (IB) terhadap Peningkatan Populasi Sapi Potong di Kecamatan Torgamba Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Selatan

Abstract

This study aims to know The Effectiveness Artificial Insemination (IB) in Increasing the Population in Labuhanbatu Selatan District based on Conseption Per Service (S/C). Conseption Rate (C/R) and Calving Interval (CI). It employed a descriptive quantitative study to take the data in the field then analyzed to conclude. The location and sample af research was purposive sampling. The variables were S/C, C/R and CI. The data would be noted and analyzed by using SPSS 25 program. The result showed that the average value of S/C was 1-2 times, average value of C/R was 60-70%, while CI was not too great because it attain till 14 per mont in the district. It can be concluded that the lower of S/C the higher of the C/R but this case is still need explain because the height of CI percentage value.
