Mangroves contribute significantly to the global carbon cycle and produce large amounts of litter in the form of fallen leaves, twigs and other debris. In addition, mangrove habitats contribute to complex food webs and energy transfers. This research was conducted in mangrove forest area of Pulau Sembilan Pangkalan Susu Village. This research activity was carried out for 3 months from October to December 2022. Observations in this study were made every two weeks. This study used a randomized Block Design (RAK) consisting of 5 treatments with 6 replications. The treatments were planting distance with P0 = 46 meters, P1 = 47 Meters, P2 = 48 Meters, P3 = 49 meters and p4 = 50 meters. From the observation of seedling height, seedling diameter, leaf length, number of leaves, leaf width, wet weight and dry weight it can be concluded that the spacing treatment does not affect plant growth and can be expressed as insignificant.en_US
