Pengaruh Penggunaan Bahan Bakar Minyak Kelapa Sawit dengan Campuran Solar dan Biosolar terhadap Performansi Mesin Diesel
Abstract
Scarcity would fuel oil , which occurs due to its limited amount, while
demand for fuel is increasingly rising, it is encouraged to do research to develop
alternative fuel sources as a substitute for diesel. Based on such consideration is
testing diesel-TD 110 TD 115 Test Bed and Instrumentation for Small Engines
with the use of palm oil fuel with a mixture of diesel and biodiesel.
This study aims to compare the effect of the use of palm oil fuel with a
mixture of diesel and biodiesel to diesel engine performance and its effect on
diesel engine performance parameters and content of the resulting exhaust
emissions of diesel motors. In this case the researchers conducted a data retrieval
from the laboratory results and analysis has been done. Data obtained on the use
of a mixture of diesel fuel and palm oil + biodiesel blending palm oil with the
highest performance is obtained on the use of a mixture of diesel fuel 0.80 L +
0.20 L where palm oil is obtained torque is 6, 6 Nm, power 1.521 kW, air-fuel
ratio volumetris 30.164 48.1% efficiency and brake thermal efficiency of 38.4%.
But for the specific fuel consumption was highest in the fuel mix 0.90 L + 0.10 L
diesel oil palm at 905.759 g / kWh. For the lowest performance diesel engine fuel
mixture contained in 0.90 L + 0.10 L diesel oil palm plantations in which a torque
of 1.3 Nm, power 0.191 kW, efficiency volumetris14, 6% and 8.8% brake thermal
efficiency but for the lowest specific fuel consumption in the fuel mix 0.80 L +
0.20 L diesel oil palm for 186.062 g / kWh and fuel air ratio in the mixture are the
lowest 0.95 L + 0.05 L diesel oil palm of 7.628.
