dc.description.abstractOptimization is a problem-solving method that aims to obtain optimal values. Linear programming is a technique used with the aim of maximizing the profits or minimizing the costs incurred by taking into account the existing limitations. This research was conducted in Hamparan Perak District to determine the maximum profit obtained by using five types of agricultural machinery namely hand tractors, four-wheeled tractors, irrigation water pump machines, transplanters, and power threshers. The optimum value of using alsintan on the available land area in Hamparan Perak District is IDR 112,309,700/MT. The decision variables that have been obtained are X1 (hand tractor) = 52, X2 (4-wheel tractor) = 2, X3 (water machine) = 91, X4 (transplanter) = 33, and X5 (power thresher) = 83.en_US
