Optimization is an activity to get maximum results for existing conditions. Linear programming is one of the techniques used to solve optimization problems (maximizing or minimizing) by observing a number of visible limitations. The following research was carried out in South Binjai District to determine the maximum profit obtained from the use of four types of agricultural machinery, namely the hand tractor, water machine, Combine Harvester, and rice transplanter. From the results obtained in the QM application, there is a maximum value from the use of agricultural machinery in South Binjai District of IDR 160,617,600/MT for one growing season. And the decision variables obtained X1 = 22 units, X2 = 24 units, X3 = 19 units, and X4 = 39 units.
