Non-Timber Forest Products (HHBK) are biological forest products, both
vegetable and animal origin, along with their derivative and cultivated products,
except for wood originating from forests. One of them is a beekeeping business that
produces honey. In developing the beekeeping business at KTH Bunga Mekar,
optimal results have not been achieved. The problems that arise for farmers at KTH
Bunga Mekar are the honey bee management model in producing more honey with
good quality, honey packaging is also done manually and product marketing is still
done individually. This research method is a quantitative and qualitative research
method, namely survey respondents and observations. The population of this study
were all members of KTH Bunga Mekar, namely 25 people. The sampling technique
is a census sampling technique (non-random sample). The data taken in this study
are primary data and secondary data. Data analysis is the analysis of honey bee
management and marketing of honey bees. The results showed that honey bee
management consisted of bee colony preparation, colony transfer, colony care and
maintenance, honey harvesting and packaging. The best marketing channel for
honey at KTH Bunga Mekar is channel I, where farmers directly sell honey to end
consumers. In marketing channel I, the value of the marketing margin is IDR 0 per
bottle and the farmer's share is 100%. Each breeder earns Rp. 184,667 from 2
bottles of 650 ml honey products. The R/C ratio value of honey products from the
stup is 1.95 indicating that the KTH Bunga Mekar honey bee cultivation business
in Karing Village is feasible to run.
