dc.description.abstractHutajulu Food Estate produces Horticultural products, where this research on LCA examines potato commodities. With a functional unit of 0.13 ha, then analyzing inventory data, then analyzing energy during production, obtained a total input energy of 107,277.70 MJ.ton-1 and output of 3,627.69 MJ.ton-1, and analyzing life cycle assessment by using OpenLCA software then interpretation by considering the highest impact, namely Abiotic Depletion, namely in the Maintenance process of 1.549×10-7 kg Sb eq, Acidification, namely in the transportation process of 1.8581 kg SO2 eq. The Global Warming Potential for transport is 215.4429 kg CO2 eq, Eutrophication is for the harvesting process for 0.6461 kg PO4---eq and Human Toxicity is for the transport process for 5.3448 kg 1,4-DB eq, improvement analysis is choosing a place to buy organic fertilizer that‟s closer to the planting location.en_US
