Strategi Partai Politik dalam Menghadapi Pendaftaran dan Verifikasi Partai Politik Pemilu Tahun 2019

Abstract

This thesis is motivated by a new party that passed verification in the 2019 election. A party that prioritizes young people. This thesis aims to explain the strategy carried out by the Indonesian Solidarity Party in dealing with the registration and verification of political parties in the 2019 election. General elections (Pemilu) are something that characterizes a democratic country. Democracy will work if there is a party system, but it will not be enough if there is only a party system, but there must be the support of political parties so that they become the aspirations of the pillars of democracy. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, namely research that aims to present facts and events in a systematic and accurate manner and analyze their truth based on data obtained in the field. The data collection technique in this study was an interview technique. Based on the results of the research and discussion, the strategy of the Indonesian Solidarity Party is to participate in becoming election participants in the 2019 election by conducting more interaction by introducing political parties to the public so that they can become members of political parties through regeneration. Then another strategy if entering a period of improvement with BMS, PSI is looking for returning members as replacements even if the registration is more than 1000 or 1/1000 in order to become eligible. Finally, by getting closer through the government regime, seeing national politics as a new political party, will always try not to become an enemy to any political party.
