Abstract

Social solidarity refers to the sense of unity and cooperation that exists within a group or society. This is an important value because it helps create a sense of belonging and mutual support within a community. In the context of the Union for Help III B Cambahan, the values of social solidarity can be realized through organizational efforts to help and support each other when needed. This can involve providing financial, physical or emotional support to community members. The values of social solidarity can also be demonstrated through the organization's efforts to encourage cooperation and collaboration among community members, as well as its efforts to promote social justice and equity. Overall, the values of social solidarity play an important role in promoting a sense of unity and cooperation within the community and can help create a stronger and cohesive society. The research method used is qualitative with the stages of interviews and direct observation. Research shows that the Union for Help III B Cambahan provides great benefits to its members, especially in providing a sense of security when a family member dies. However, obstacles were found in the operations of the Union for Help III B Cambahan, such as delays in paying dues by members due to economic factors and the lack of public interest in the social service programs provided by the Union for Helping III B Cambahan.
