dc.description.abstract | Efforts to apply the transformational leadership style in the organization will improve performance. Work life balance in an organization needs to get good attention because of the many multiple roles played by employees, both roles within the organization and roles outside the organization so that their performance increases. A conducive work environment makes employees more motivated at work and is supported by work discipline from each employee so that employee performance can increase. The objective of the research is to analyze effects of transformational leadership style, work life balance, and work environment on employee performance at the Medan land Agency through work discipline. The research uses quantitative causal approach. The population is made uo of 159 employees at Medan Land Agency, and 114 of them are taken as the sample. The data are collected by conducting Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with Smart PLS version 4.0 software. The results of the research show that transformational leadership style directly has positive and significant effects on employee performance, it has positive and significant effects on work discipline, work life balance has positive and insignificant effect on work discipline, it has a positive and insignificant effects on employee performance, work environment has positive and insignificant effects on employee performance, it has positive and significant effects on work discipline, and work discipline has positive and significant effects on employee performance. Indirectly, it is found that work discipline is able to mediate the correlation of transformational leadership style and employees performance and work environment but not with work life balance. | en_US |
