Pengaruh Kesiapan Kerja Terhadap Quarter Life Crisis pada Lulusan Universitas Sumatera Utara di masa Pandemi Covid-19

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work readiness on quarter life crises in North Sumatra university graduates during the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of research is quantitative research, namely finding scientific evidence or testing based on theories and hypotheses. The population of this study were all alumni of the University of North Sumatra during the Covid-19 pandemic and had not or were looking for work, totaling 2401 people. Based on calculations using the slovin formula, a sample of 100 people was obtained. The sampling technique uses the accidental sampling technique, namely the technique of determining a sample based on coincidence, that is, anyone who is accidentally met by a researcher and has the appropriate criteria will be used as a sample. The analytical method used in this study is descriptive analysis, linearity test, hypothesis testing and the coefficient of determination. Based on the results of the linearity test, the Deviation From Linearity value was 0.384, greater than 0.05. So it can be concluded that there is a significant linear relationship between the variables of job readiness and quarter life crisis. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, the Sig value of the work readiness variable was 0.003 <0.05 and t count 3.019 > t table 1.984, so work readiness had a positive and significant effect on the quarter life crisis. And based on the results of the analysis of the coefficient of determination, the value of the coefficient of determination (R-Square) is 0.085. So it can be concluded that the variable of work readiness can affect the quarter life crisis by 8.5%, the remaining 91.5% is explained by other variables or factors.
