dc.description.abstract | This study aims of this study is to see the relationship between parental phubbing and parent-child connectedness among early adult parents at Medan City. This study research’s subjects are 141 people. The sampling technique used is incidental sampling. The method used in this study is a correlational quantitative method with data collection methods using a likert scale, namely the parental phubbing scale arranged based on aspects of Chotpitayasunondh & Douglas (2018b) which consists of 11 items and the parent-child connectedness scale arranged based on aspects of Lezin dkk., (2004) which consists of 20 items. The results of this study indicate that there is a negative relationship between parental phubbing and parent-child connectedness among early adult parents at Medan City with a significance value of -0.587 > 0.05. The results also show that the majority of subjects experience parental phubbing which is low and parent-child connectedness is high | en_US |
