dc.description.abstractThis study aims to describe the academic procrastination of high school students who take tutoring in the city of Medan. The subjects used in this study were high school students who attended tutoring in Medan, totaling 162 people. This study used a descriptive quantitative method, the data collection method used was accidental sampling by distributing google-forms and also providing a research scale directly to the subjects encountered. This study uses a Likert scale as a data collection method. The measuring instrument used in this study was the academic procrastination scale compiled by the researchers themselves based on the theory of academic procrastination by Ferrari (1995). The analytical method used is descriptive statistics. The descriptions used are based on gender, majors, and categories of academic procrastination. The research results obtained were high school students who attended tutoring had a moderate level of academic procrastination.en_US
