Hubungan Antara Place Attachment dengan Learning Satisfaction pada Mahasiswa di Masa Pandem

Abstract

This study aims to determine the positive relationship between place attachment and learning satisfaction among students during a pandemic. Place attachment is a positive emotional bond between students and the study room in their home. Students who can create comfortable and appropriate study spaces will increase place attachment, so that student learning satisfaction during the learning process will increase. This is in line with one of the factors that influence Learning satisfaction is external factors such as adequate learning conditions, namely learning in good physical and social conditions. The hypothesis in this study is that place attachment will have a positive relationship with student learning satisfaction during a pandemic. This study uses a quantitative approach with correlational analysis. The population in this study were active students in Indonesia who had participated in online and offline learning with a total sample of 272 respondents. Based on the results of this study it was found that there was a positive relationship of 0.555 with an effect of 30.8% place attachment on learning satisfaction in students during a pandemic. This shows that the higher the place attachment, the higher the learning satisfaction of students during a pandemic, and vice versa.
