Community Resilience is urgently needed by online motorcycle taxi drivers in
facing stressful situations. Because with community resilience, online motorcycle
taxi drivers can survive and be able to deal with adverse situations and move on
from their problems. There are several factors that influence community
resilience, one of which is perceived social support. This study aims to determine
whether there is a relationship between perceived social support and community
resilience in online motorcycle taxi drivers. This study involved 115 online
motorcycle taxi drivers in the Medan city area who were selected using a
convenience sampling technique. The variables of community resilience and
perceived social support were measured using questionnaires that were
distributed online and offline via google form and questionnaires. The collected
data were analyzed using SPSS. The results show that there is a significant and
positive relationship between perceived social support and community resilience,
where online motorcycle taxi drivers who have good perceived social support will
also have good community resilience.
