Peran Self Regulated Learning Terhadap Flow Pada Mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi USU yang Mengerjakan Skrips

Abstract

Self regulated learning is a strategy used by students to be able to organize learning activities independently by involving metacognitive, behavioral, and motivational in achieving learning goals. In this study, learning is limited in the process of completing the thesis. So that students can complete their thesis with a feeling of comfort, focus and concentration, and have strong motivation to be able to complete the required conditions well which is called flow. So it is important to see whether there is a role for self-regulated learning to flow in USU Faculty of Psychology students who are working on their thesis. The sample in this study were 124 USU Faculty of Psychology students who were working on their thesis. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling, which was obtained by administering a questionnaire using a self-regulated learning scale measuring tool based on Zimmerman's theory (1986) and flow scale based on Bakker's theory (2005). The statistical method used in this research is simple linear regression analysis. The results of this study's data analysis showed a p value (0.000) <0.05, so this study found that there was a role for self-regulated learning for flow in USU Faculty of Psychology students who were working on their thesis, and the role of self-regulated learning for flow was 33.9%.
