dc.description.abstractThis study aims to determine the effect of the effectiveness of the reward and punishment system on the work motivation of J&T Express couriers. The subjects in this study were 100 J&T Express couriers. This study used a quantitative explanatory method using a Likert scale as a data collection method, the effectiveness of the reward system scale, the effectiveness of the punishment system scale, and the scale of work motivation. The analytical method used in this study is multiple regression analysis and the results show that: (1) The effectiveness of the reward system has a positive effect on the work motivation of J&T Express couriers. (2) The effectiveness of the punishment system has no effect on the work motivation of J&T Express couriers. (3) The effectiveness of the reward and punishment systems have an effect of 36.9% on the work motivation of J&T Express couriers. This study reveals that the effectiveness of the reward and punishment system influences work motivationen_US
