The Mount Sinabung Eruption disaster had a major impact on the Karo people, especially for the people of Sukanalu Village, Naman Teran District, Karo Regency who lived in the Kabanjahe KNPI Building evacuation post. The Mount Sinabung Eruption disaster caused many fatalities, environmental damage, losses due to health impacts for the people who experienced the disaster which caused symptoms of illness in women refugee camps. What is the response of refugees in dealing with illnesses suffered during a disaster, what are the attitudes of the actions taken by women to treat the illnesses they experience. The evacuation response started from holding the pain for a while, then going to the doctor for treatment, using traditional medicine as medicine to relieve and cure pain and even choosing generic drugs to feel the pain that was experienced. This research is a qualitative descriptive research that makes individuals as research subjects. The research informants were determined using a purposive procedure. Data was collected using three methods of semi-structured interviews, observation and documentation. Data interpretation was carried out in stages starting from data, data reduction, and research recommendations. Disease damage that occurs when health conditions are susceptible to disease attacks caused by environmental and physical health conditions that are not good makes women vulnerable to illness and consequently disrupts work and routineactivities carried out by women so that women refugees respond to diseases suffered during the disaster what happened, how the disease refugees felt, seeingtheir behavior / actions when they experienced pain starting from the incident, going to medical, traditional medicine, using generic drugs / supermarket medical.
