    Abstract
This article examines the hangout lifestyle of millennials in LubukPakam. Lifestyle in this study discusses fashion styles and how millennials interpret hangouts at coffee shops. The development of fashion and interest in hanging out in cafes has become a trend for millennials in LubukPakam. Fashion trends also vary and are dynamic from the same individual. LubukPakam's millennials tend to be interested in the hangout lifestyle and this is also supported by the development of the number of cafes as a means of support. This study uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques through participant observation and in-depth interviews. Observations were made as a first step to finding an overview of the trend of spending time in well-known coffee shops, shops, or cafes with certain brands. Millennials who hang out are key informants in this study. Data analysis was carried out during the research process until writing (ongoing analysis). Field data is recorded in detail in fieldnotes for coding and setting themes, and classified according to the problem formulation. The results of this study indicate that there are several fashion trends that become hangout styles which are divided into hijab and non-hijab fashion as well as the dynamics of various millennial fashion styles. Some variations of non-hijab fashion styles include semi-earth, semi-mamba, semi-cake, semi-feminine. The Lubuk Pakam millennials only follow the color patterns of these fashion variations, and do not follow fashion design models like the various types of fashion styles worn by model users on Instagram or in other digital media that become their inspiration. They think that following the color has become a trend from mamba, cake, and earth fashion. And don't miss the variety of hijab styles combined with fashion styles. The various styles of hijab are variations of conventional syar'i hijab styles, jipon hijab styles, ciput, turban hijab styles, millennial hijab styles. There is also a free 'slengean' fashion style which shows that their fashion style does not change styles. The 'slengean' style does not follow other fashion styles that are currently developing. Lubuk Pakam's millennial fashion style changes when they hang out. This shows a change in the dynamics of millennial fashion styles. there are times when they hang out, there are changes in fashion styles that are adjusted to the atmosphere of the hangout location (coffee shop), friends while hanging out, and their mood. Millennials feel at home hanging out at coffee shops for a variety of reasons, including: complete facilities, a comfortable atmosphere and choices of food and drinks. They give meaning to the hangout activity: if you don't hang out it's not cool, you feel free and independent, you get a new atmosphere and new inspiration and relieve fatigue and tiredness. That's what makes them feel at home in the hangout location. This study finds the dynamics of the diversity of fashion styles among millennials in Lubuk Pakam. For subsequent study studies, the authors suggest that an in-depth research study be carried out on their meaning of the dynamics of fashion variations among millennials and why they use the 'slengean' fashion style with one style without mixing it with other clothing styles which have not been reviewed in depth in this thesis. .
