dc.description.abstractUtilization of palm tree like BKS as a new commodity is very necessary. One of them is to create a composite material that uses palm trunk fiber amplifier. BKS processed to be fiber and then mix it with resin thermoset to make polymeric foam. Then the material is used as materials for unmanned aerial vehicles. The purpose of this study was to determine the mix formulations in the manufacture of unmanned aircraft body with a polymeric material fiber-reinforced composite foam palm trunk, knowing the process of making the mold aircraft body, and know the process of making unmanned aircraft body with polymeric material foam reinforced BKS fiber. Unmanned Aerial Vehicles created using gravity casting method. The result we obtained, the best composition to make unmanned aerial vehicles is 75% resin, 20% blowing agent, and 5% fiber. In process to make wing mold, we need 1 layer fiber glass and on the body we need 3 layer fiber glass. The time required for the mixture to expand fully is 8 minutesen_US
