| dc.description.abstract | Patchouli oil is an essential oil obtained from patchouli leaves (Pogostemon cablin benth) by distillation or extraction. This study was conducted to analyze the effect of variations in microwave wave power on the characteristics of patchouli essential oil obtained. The quality characteristics of patchouli oil refer to SNI 06-2385-2006. Patchouli will be dried and distilled using the microwave assisted hydro-distillation method at 180, 300 and 450 watts of power. With variations in the mass of raw materials 30, 40 and 50 g.
