Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune disease due to inflammation that causes joint damage and pain. One of the non pharmacological measures to relieve pain is to warm the sore joints. Applying heat has the advantage of increasing blood flow to an area and possibly reducing pain, moist heat can relieve joint stiffness. The purpose of this case study is to apply warm compresses to patients suffering from Rheumatoid Arthritis. The results of the study found that the patient's rheumatic problems were caused by factors of increasing age, poor diet, and hormones. Nursing diagnoses that are enforced are pain related to injury, distension and lack of knowledge about rheumatism. Implementation is done by teaching the client to recognize the disease process and explain the relationship between the disease process and treatment. The conclusion of the nursing evaluation given has a positive impact on the patient's condition, namely the occurrence of additional knowledge for patients about rheumatic care.en_US
