Inovasi Pengembangan Produk Sedotan Purun Danau (Lepironia articulata (Rezt.) Domin)

Abstract

Indonesia has straws made from plants such as straw. One plant species that has the potential to be used as a raw material for straws is purun Danau (Lepironia articulata). Purun Danau (Lepironia articulata (Rezt.) Domin) is a typical swamp plant, although purun can also grow in brackish areas. Aim from study this is obtain character physical and mechanic , analyze contamination metal and contamination microbiology and knowing information about level favorite Public to straw purun Lake ( L. articulata (Rezt.) Domin ) . Testing on development product straw purun Lake done with method test character physical mechanical use ASTM standard D-3379-75 (1989). Analysis contamination metal use method Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (SSA) SNI 6989.4.2009 .analysis contamination microbiology use method quantitative ie test Number Total Plate (ALT). Testing hedonic practice to 35 people. The highest density value of the Purun Danau straw at the Mekar Jaya location is 0.13 % . The highest tensile strength value was found in the Purun Danau straw from the Ara Payung location, namely 1197.7 kg/cm 2 .The content of iron (Fe) in the purun lake growing water at the three locations was 0.3 mg/L and the lead (Pb) content in the purun lake growing water was 0.03 mg/L . The results of testing for microbiological contamination of all test samples met BPOM RI requirements number 13 of 2019 .The results of the purun lake hedonic test at 3 different locations showed that the purun lake straw that was most liked by the community was quite liked by the community, namely the Mekar Jaya purun lake straw.
