Pengaruh Pemberian Ekstrak Kunyit (Curcuma Domestica) dengan Dosis dan Feeding Rate berbeda terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Kelangsungan Hidup Ikan Lele Sangkuriang (Clarias Gariepinus)

Abstract

Tumeric as an antioxidant prevents tissue damage and increases appetite. Aquaculture production can be increased by providing quality feed ingredients. Catfish have a high selling value and the way of cultivation is not difficult. Catfish is a leading commodity for Indonesian people because it is easy to cultivate. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the dose of turmeric curcumin extract and the best feeding rate of turmeric curcumin extract added to the feed to affect the growth and survival of sangkuriang catfish. This study used a randomized block design (RBD) with 2 treatments and 3 repetitions. carried out is by adding the dose of turmeric extract to the feed with three levels, namely without giving turmeric extract (K0), 0.9g/kg (K1). 1.4g kg (K2) and feeding rate 2% (F1), 3% (F2), 4% (F3). This research was conducted for 60 days of rearing to determine the increase in weight, increase in length. Feed Covertion Ratio (FCR), survival (SR) and water quality. The results showed that the administration of kunvit extract with different doses and feeding rates had an effect on the growth of Sangkuriang catfish and had no effect on the Feed Conversion Ratio. Treatment K3 (dose of kunvit extract 1.4g/kg) and F3 (feeding rate 4%) is the best treatment for the growth of sangkuriang catfish
