Currently, elevator access in the apartment is still manual because there is no access for
apartment visitors to take the elevator. Therefore it takes a long time for the
demonstrator to meet with the apartment residents because they have to complete the
existing procedures. guests must report to the receptionist, the receptionist will allow if
the guest is a relative or someone who is known, with that the guest is expected to leave
an identity in the form of an ID card or something else as a guarantee for the guest list
visiting the apartment, after the guest fulfills the requirements the room occupant goes
down to downstairs to pick up the guest. For this reason, a study was conducted which
aims to make it easier for apartment visitors by registering visitor identities, namely e KTP, the visitor can access the elevator. there is a floor limit, the visitor cannot go to
another floor besides the floor he is targeting. In this study, RFID technology was used
as an e-ID card scan for access keys for residents and visitors, the AT89S51
microcontroller was used as a processor or controller for rfid which was made as a scan
and key. The e-ID card scanned by the RFID tag determines the floor to which residents
and visitors go
