    Abstract
Diabetes is a serious chronic disease that occurs when the pancreas does not produce enough insulin (a hormone that regulates blood sugar or glucose) or when the body cannot effectively use the insulin it produces. Prolanis is one of the flagship programs in the implementation of the JKN-KIS program. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the use of prolanis in patients with diabetes mellitus at the Aras Kabu Public Health Center, Deli Serdang Regency in 2021. This type of quantitative research is analytically using a cross sectional design. The results showed that the variables of knowledge, access to services, family support, and support from health workers had a significant relationship with the use of prolanis at the Aras Kabu Public Health Center, Deliserdang Regency in 2021. The variables of service access, family support, and support from health workers had an influence. significant partial effect on the utilization of prolanis. Based on the Odds Ratio (OR) value of service access is 13.312, it means that access to services is more at risk of not utilizing the use of prolanis as much as 13.312 times with people who have access to affordable services, and the OR value of family support is 8.835, meaning that family support is more at risk of not utilizing the use of prolanis as much as 8.835 times. people who get family support, as well as support from health workers have an OR of 13,610, which means that the support of health workers is more at risk of not using prolanis as much as 13,610 times with people who receive support from health workers. The advice I can give is that health workers provide socialization regarding the use of prolanis not only for patients who have chronic diseases such as diabetes mellitus, but also the affordability of participants' activities to the location of prolanis activities, as well as approach the patient's family so that they want to take part in prolanis activities, and health workers as well. provide support to participants who have chronic diseases to participate in prolanis activities.
