    Konflik Sosial dalam Hikayat Hang Tuah:Pendekatan Sosiologi Sastra

    Abstract
    This study aims to find out the structure in the HHT story with a structural approach, to find out the forms of social conflict in the HHT story. The research method that the author uses in this study is a descriptive qualitative research method. The data collection technique that the writer uses is library research. The data source that the writer obtained was the HHT text. The analysis technique that the writer uses is text analysis in HHT. The theory that the writer uses in this research is structural theory and social conflict theory. The results of the study show that in the structure of the HHT text there is the theme of courage and loyalty of a hulubalang to his king. The flow used in HHT text is forward flow. The characters in the HHT text are the protagonists, Hang Tuah, Hang Kesturi, Hang Lekir and Hang Lekiu, Raja Melaka, Datuk Bendahara, Tun Teja and Hang Tuah's parents. The antagonists are Hang Jebat, Paduka Seri Batara, Patih Gajah Mada, Patih Karma Wijaya and palace officials. The background in the HHT text is the setting of the place; an island, in the market, in the kingdom of Majapahit, in Taman Batara Majapahit, in the kingdom of Inderapura and in the Hall of the King of Melaka's Palace. The time setting contained in the HHT text is; evening, the next day, one day, during the day, and seven days and seven nights. The social background in the HHT text is; tells the life of the people in the palace environment named Hang Tuah and his four friends, who have the courage to stab, always fight against enemies who want to destroy the land of Melaka. The points of view contained in the HHT text are third person point of view, plot, characters and characterizations, setting and point of view. There are 2 forms of social conflict in HHT, including interpersonal conflicts which include conflicts between the figures Tun Teja and Treasurer Seri Buana, Tun Teja and Raja Inderapura and Hang Tuah and Hang Jebat. Conflicts between countries which include conflicts between Malacca and Portugal and conflicts between Portugal and the Netherlands and Johor. In HHT there are also 3 causes of social conflict from the two forms described above, namely dissatisfaction with the treatment or actions received and given by others, differences in will and anger. The results of the study concluded that structural theory was used to analyze themes, plots, characters and characterizations, settings and points of view. The theory of sociology of literature is used to analyze social conflict in HHT texts which include the forms and causes of social conflict.
